This is an opportunity for you to join content expert Nada Alkhafaji, RDH, MSDH and other fellow educators to discuss strategies for integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences. This session will focus on how to use technology to enhance student engagement while teaching, as well as other classroom technologies to increase teaching effectiveness. Approximately 10 platforms will be discussed including TopHat, Padlet, Lucidchart, Pickerwheel, Kahoot, Bingo Baker and others.

Educators Platform Masterminds are dynamic two-hour virtual sessions building on each other’s challenges, ideas and successes in the presence of a content expert. Mastermind sessions are thoughtfully facilitated to create an environment for like-minded colleagues to share and learn from one another with the goal of collective professional growth and development. Sessions are uniquely tailored to the needs of participants. Those attending will have the opportunity to create strong connections with other participants to last a whole career.

More about our content expert: Nada Alkhafaji received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene Education at Old Dominion University. Nada is currently at VCU School of Dentistry and has taught Infection and Immunity; Dental Hygiene Theory II, III, and IV; Practice Management and clinic. Nada has used many tech resources to positively influence her courses and is passionate about sharing these ideas to other educators to continue having an engaged classroom environment for all types of learners.

Attendees of Educators Platform Mastermind sessions will earn 2 CEU in Educational Methods.
