The coordination of a dental hygiene clinic is nuanced and complicated. Often the constant onslaught of questions leads to overwhelm and decision as well as compassion fatigue. But coordinating the clinic is a position of quiet influence where a faculty member is poised to not only build student confidence, but also faculty confidence. This mastermind will walk learners through implementing calibration systems for clinic coordination as though in the back pocket of a new coordinator, who recently concluded a site visit-and explore the impact of collaboration.

After the mastermind presentation, learners will be able to:

• Discuss strategies for ensuring collaborative voice.
• Identify tools for keeping a positive flow of information from clinical faculty to clinical student and back again.
• Identify rhythms for routine calibration touchpoints to develop a culture of curiosity and calibration.
• Review documentation methods for tracking and planning clinic procedures.
