A Conference for Clinic and Lab Instructors!

As a clinical instructors, beyond the knowledge of dental hygiene and patient care, we must possess communication skills, and the ability to manage emotions, evaluation curricula, and ethics for different circumstances.  We are tasked with balancing multiple students with their unique patients’ situations and needs at any point in time. This job is not easy, and support is deserved for this multifaceted role. This is why we are offering INSTRUCT designed for educators who teach in a clinic or lab setting! INSTRUCT is a highly impactful, two-day virtual conference covering the best and latest in clinical instruction.

After attending INSTRUCT we will gain essential insights into the best practices for teaching students in clinic and lab.  We will learn from leaders in clinical instruction through new ground-breaking research on ways to optimize our teaching performance.  We will directly interact with fellow clinical instructors to navigate common issues and challenges. Attend INSTRUCT and leave with a renewed purpose and new skills to immediately take back to your clinical teaching environment! Clinical teaching methodology is required for accreditation- this is the perfect way for our programs to meet this requirement. We welcome full and part-time faculty to this impactful event!
