This is an opportunity for you to join content expert Danielle Rulli, RDH, MS, DHSc and other fellow educators to discuss preparing your students to use advanced instrumentation in their dental hygiene care in a way that works for your program. Participants will consider and discuss when and how to integrate, using andragogy to connect the concept to previous/concurrent course content, and considerations for calibrating faculty. Objectives:

1. Assess the best time to introduce advanced instrumentation
2. Teach advanced instrumentation in a translational way
3. Map the concept across your curriculum
4. Examine ways to calibrate faculty regarding advanced instrumentation 

Educators Platform Masterminds are dynamic two-hour virtual sessions building on each other’s challenges, ideas and successes in the presence of a content expert. Mastermind sessions are thoughtfully facilitated to create an environment for like-minded colleagues to share and learn from one another with the goal of collective professional growth and development. Sessions are uniquely tailored to the needs of participants. Those attending will have the opportunity to create strong connections with other participants to last a whole career.

More about our content expert: Dr. Rulli serves as Director of the Graduate Dental Hygiene Program and Clinical Associate Professor of Dentistry, in the Division of Dental Hygiene at the University of Michigan. She has published on the topics of interprofessional education and collaboration, student mentoring and community, implant care and much more.
