This is a unique opportunity for you to join content expert Lindsey Lee, RDH, MS, LPN and other fellow educators to discuss how to teach the inner workings and the makings of a successful dental practice. This course will discuss what skill sets and responsibilities that are necessary for a dental hygienist interested in transitioning into practice management. 

After completion of this course educators will be able to provide their students with great information regarding:

• specific responsibilities of being a practice manager
• understanding business side of dentistry and practice management focusing on human resources, staffing, and financial planning.
• knowledge of how to financially manage a practice proactively versus reactively
• how to implement protocols supported by evidence based research
• techniques on how to effectively and ethically motivate and incentivize the dentists and the staff and promote a collaborative work environment

Educators Platform Masterminds are dynamic two-hour virtual sessions building on each other’s challenges, ideas and successes in the presence of a content expert. Mastermind sessions are thoughtfully facilitated to create an environment for like-minded colleagues to share and learn from one another with the goal of collective professional growth and development. Sessions are uniquely tailored to the needs of participants. Those attending will have the opportunity to create strong connections with other participants to last a whole career.

More about our content expert: Lindsey Lee has worked in dentistry for over 20 years. She has a unique perspective in the field as she has worked as a dental assistant, front office manager, dental hygienist, dental hygiene educator, nurse and a practice manager. Currently Lindsey works as a nurse and dental hygienist managing two dental practices and a medical aesthetics clinic. Lindsey has developed and implemented various practice management protocols that promote improved health outcomes for her patients, facilitates company growth and profitability, and creates high staff retention and satisfaction within the workplace.
