A bit more information
Feedback is essential to student growth, yet many educators receive little training on how to give or receive it effectively. This session provides practical, evidence-based strategies dental hygiene educators can use to deliver clear, constructive feedback and confidently receive feedback from students and colleagues. Participants will leave with tools to strengthen learning, clinical performance, and professional development in both classroom and clinical settings.
Objectives:
- Describe the characteristics of effective feedback in dental hygiene education.
- Identify strategies for receiving and delivering feedback from students and colleagues with openness and professionalism.
- Practice language and frameworks that support productive feedback conversations.
- Develop approaches to foster a feedback culture that supports learning and continuous improvement.
